Comcast wanted me to update my browser, I tried the firefox set up 5.0 exe Mozilla but don't think I have it installed. last night

I tried to update my browser, because Comcast asked me to to do that, so I could get their Xfinity Connect, instead of Xfinity Connect Lite, which I don't like, they said I was running on an older browser or operating system that is not supported by the standard Xfinity Communication Center application, in that case, you will automatically be redirected to the Xfinity Connect Lite version.
