I never had a problem until v. 4.0, now firefox crashes daily and mostly when I'm changing pages in yahoo mail

Mostly the crash occurs as I'm opening an email in yahoo mail window. 1 of 5 crashes are when on random pages. But I've never had firefox crash before 4.0 installed. Thought 4.0.1 would have fixed the problem but it's worse now. I'm running mac 10.6.7
