I downloaded the latest version (yesterday) of Firefox onto my Samsung Galaxy S GT-19000. I want to set the download default location to the external sd card on my phone. I cannot find how to do this.

The default download location should be on the sdcard. /sdcard/Android/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/Download/ on my device.

If you want a different location you should be able to set. You can use about:config and create browser.download.dir as a string and set the value to /sdcard/ to save to the root of the sdcard.

Thanks, but i do not see how to "force" downloads to the external sd card. I am not that proficient at generating strings . . On my Samsung Galaxy S, before I downloaded Firefox, opening the internet app, there is an option in menu-more-settings-default storage . . There I can set external, or phone card. The only other option I have is when I transfer from the computer to my phone (via Samsung Kies or not) to anywhere on my phone . .

Why is life so complicated . .
