Why does the Back button not work properly when using the "multidestination" function to search for flights on Expedia.com?

When using a MacBook Pro to search Expedia.com for flights, the "back" arrow button does not navigate to the previous screen. Instead, the same screen that you start from comes up again. This happens when using the "multidestination" feature to search for multiple flights at once.
