web sites are compresased on the page and lines overlap ontop of other lines and some lines don't appear as complete lines of text.

Web site NYT used to fill the web page now is very slim, along with other pages that I access from other sites.There is nothing that I can do to make these sites display the entire window. Text lines overlap each other and sometime only half the text line is showing when there are multiple text lines on a a page. It is as if the browser is not allowing enough room for the page to display.
