Mac was functioning properly with the exception of this ODD INCIDENT that made it defunctioned. I'm certain there's a way to retrieve it by using certain keys on the keyboard BUT I'm not aware of this process.

What I'm having now, despite "switching on and off" drill, is just a black screen with the wordings "INPUT NOT SUPPORTED" on the monitor that remains constant each time I try.

I am not even a Mac user, but am guessing your problem is that you have somehow changed the screen resolution to something that is incorrect for your setup.

Presumably there is someway to reset a Mac to use default settings or safe settings, possibly relating to bios use. The first result I get from a search engine is: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/772297
