in today's update one could place on the top(header) and bottom (footer) of the firefox site...I woul dlike to remove it...pretty, however difficult to follow the tabs. Thank you

It sounds like you installed a theme or persona (light weight theme), for how to switch back to the default theme see using themes with Firefox
