What does "allow for session" mean in "Cookies, ask every time"? I thought it would delete the cookie when I closed Firefox but that isn't happening. in English

Do you keep those tabs open or reopen them automatically via session restore the next time if you close Firefox?

No, I close FF and let it open to the home page I've established.

Cookies that you allow for the current session should not be saved to disk.

Do you see them in the Cookie Manager after you close and reopen Firefox?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems

Tried that and still not deleting cookies.

I have the same issue and am almost certain it is caused by the Speed Dial addon?

If you are using Speed Dial or anything similar you may want to look into this?

As yet I do not have a solution though will post again if I find any fix...

Undo closed tabs (History > Recently Closed Tabs/Windows) can also cause cookies not to get deleted.

Solved my problem by turning off the automated refresh option in Speed Dial settings. If you are not using Speed Dial I'd suggest you check similar for any other auto-reload or refresh settings such as for tabs?
