Does Windows live still record your websites if Private Browsing is on?

Currently the websites I visit are added to a log on another computer, so i was wondering if having Private Browsing enabled would make a difference. Just to make it clear, this log is run by windows live, and it has disabled inprivate browsing on internet explorer 8.
