Cannot find on my profile history of my old bookmarks to import/back up
I'm having trouble restoring lost bookmarks. I've read the help section on this and it says to go to Bookmarks and click on the Organize Bookmark link and a Library Window will open with a link to click on marked Import/Back Up bookmarks, on my version of Mozilla no such Library window appears only a "Bookmark Manager" window which alas no such Import/Back Up link to click on. Can anyone suggest another way of being able to get at those lost bookmarks?

To be able to retrieve deleted bookmarks you need a backup. You might, for example, have exported your bookmarks to an 'bookmarks.html' file; then you may retrieve your bookmarks by importing it to a browser..

Wow! That doesn't sound good! Is there no other way to retrieve Bookmarks other than by previously having backed them up??
2.0.0.7 is 3 years old and doesn't show bookmark backups in the Manage / Organize Bookmarks window like 3+ versions do. See this for help in finding your backups.
