We file legal documents with the federal court by electronic filing. We then get an email and open the document. Suddenly, a few days ago instead of opening the document it downloads it. I had not changed and thing on Firefox. How do I get it to open the document in Adobe again?

If Adobe documents are automatically saved instead of opened, check the Applications panel in Firefox ("Tools -> Options -> Applications") and change the action for PDF documents to either "Use Adobe Reader" if you want to use the application or "Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox" if you want the PDF file to open inside a Firefox browser window via the Adobe Acrobat plugin. If you want to be asked what to do with PDF files each time, select "Always Ask" for the action. See* Change what Firefox does when you click on or download a file and View PDF files in Firefox or choose another viewer.
