Firefox crashes on me at least once a day or more
I just got a new Sony vaio laptop. Firefox crashes on my everyday at least once or even several times in a day. I'm using the latest version of firefox and I'm pretty sure all my plug ins and extensions are up to date. I have been having this problem for 2 weeks now. I hope some one out there can help me out. Thanks Ray

Crashes like you describe are usually caused by add-ons or profile issues, but can also be caused by video drivers.
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode (hold down the SHIFT key when starting Firefox) to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem and to make sure you are using the default theme:
Firefox (Tools) -> Add-ons -> Appearance
Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If you have to re-install, do a clean installation:
- download Firefox and save the installation file,
- uninstall Firefox,
- delete the Firefox program files folder, (important)
