Hello Vera.

Hopefully this support article is what you need:

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/The+Adobe+Flash+plugin+has+crashed

In any case, if you are having a problem specifically with the Flash plugin, you need to contact Adobe for support.

I have the same crashing problem. It only started when adobe and/or Firefox were updated recently. I have tried every "fix" I can search out. I have removed both programs, restarted my computer, then downloaded the new version of Firefox and included the add-ons for Adobe Flash. I am only having a problem when I play games on Big Sea Games. I have also gone to their "help" and performed their suggestions for this particular trouble. If I could just get the older version of Firefox back, I think it would eliminate the problem but I cannot find it.

If the problems go away when you disable Flash, then it's a problem with Flash. It's that simple.

Thanks for replying Morbus but removing Adobe Flash Player isn't an option and still play games at Big Sea Games. I did try it after reading your suggestion and then went to the games but the game site can tell instantly if a computer doesn't have flash player and offers a link to download it. Which I now have back on my computer. The adobe flash player crash is happening on one game during one segment of the game. All of the others that I usually play are working just fine. It's just real important to me to get this fixed. I wish I could download the older version but I can't find it available.

Removing Flash was not really what I meant. What I meant is that you need to contact Adobe if you have a problem with Flash. They know their software better than anyone.

I think that we give too much respect to Flash; instead of twisting our systems pretzel-like to meet the constantly changing demands of the fundamentally flawed Flash plugin, more of us need to find an alternative so that junk software like this can be thoroughly rejected. Flash's unreliability and its hunger for electrical (especially for those of us who run off batteries) and CPU resources make it a net loss for the user. We should 1]] use alternatives -- not everyone knows that YouTube doesn't *require* Flash for example, 2]] when practical completely avoid any program or app that forces us to junk up our system by requiring us to use Flash.

^I admit to having been called much worse. Try the tests tho, monitor your system's performance in many ways with and without flash. I did that because I couldn't believe how slow my machine was even after some upgrades. I don't know all of S Job's [real] reasons for being negative on flash, but objectively, I think that it's really hard to claim he's wrong about how seriously [bad] Flash and its effects are.
