Hello All,

I have recently been having difficulties opening firefox. For the people who copy and paste the article link, I have already read it and the only viable "solution" is to recopy the profile. However this is only a temporary fix since it's happed twice now.

There are no error messages, no plug-in compatibilities (at least given the article) etc etc. I'm looking for alternative solutions. So if anyone has any I'd be very happy to hear your suggestions.

Please don't paste the article link. I've already seen it.

This happened

Just once or twice

No significant event.

Try Starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

Then click on the box that says Disable all addons. After that close Firefox then open Firefox normally to check if it starts

If a new profile helps (but not permanently) then some third-party program (a virus, an anti-virus, a firewall or something else) is finding this new profile and installing add-ons or otherwise doing something that breaks the profile.
