firefox 3.6.3 not allowing wireless canon printer to print from browser with all firewalls off.

Installed wireless canon Pixma mx870 printer. Works fine with pdf & word docs, photos, but will not print from browser,ie; web pages or email. Switch to Internet Explorer and works just fine. Hardwire printer to pc with usb cord and same results. Firewall off ineffective. Help please!

Every time Firefox opened
