since many years I use thunderbird. It's no longer accessible (error) and I tried to install it back. Impossible . Help !

are you downloading from thunderbird.net? Please provide complete text of error message. Otherwise, we have no idea of the problem.
please also give information on whether you are using windows, linux or mac and what version,
