Hi Natasha, sorry to hear about this problem. Please note that your bookmarks and history are private data stored on your computer, and not something support forum volunteers can access.

When Firefox restarted, did it mention having to create a new profile? In that case, please try the steps in the first section of the following article to investigate other available profiles: Recover lost or missing Bookmarks.

Or when Firefox restarted, did it suggest a Refresh or Tune-up? The tell-tale sign is a new folder on your Windows desktop named Old Firefox Data. If you see a folder with that name, click into it until you see the bookmarkbackups folder. Does this have recent files from before the problem started?

Interface Options

If your Bookmarks Toolbar (the bar below the main toolbar with the site URL) is missing or doesn't look normal, please take a look at these articles:

You may want to use the Bookmarks Sidebar temporarily. Ctrl+B should open/close that sidebar.

Can you see your bookmarks in their original locations or new locations?
