Firefox freezes with black screen

Running Firefox ver. 128.0.3 (also happened on ver. 128.0.2) and on various websites, the screen goes black and Firefox is non-responsive/frozen. Able to close and restart Firefox, but lose any work in progress. Becoming more frequent. Other apps that are open continue to work fine. About:crashes returns "No crash reports have been submitted." HP laptop with 2nd screen, running Windows 10 Home ver. 10.0.19045 Build 19045
