Firefox sync not working/backup of all my bookmarks, saved passwords and other stuff just gone?

Reinstalled windows on my computer and installed firefox just now. Done this procedure multiple times, not new to me. What is however new, is that firefox seemingly wiped my complete backup from my account in Firefox sync, theres nothing left and obviously I did not create a manual backup of all my Firefox data because I already did this procedure 5-10 times in the past.

I am absolutely furious right now, its not just the saved pages, many of which are needed for work, but also the countless number of saved login details.

I need help desperately right now before I completely uninstall everything Firefox related and never touch it again.

Here's the thing Sync isn't a backup for your data - one must backup their data before any Reinstalling of the O/S not doing so doesn't guarantee the sync is still there to work.
