I am really tired of having to download the "captcha" files over and over. What am I doing wrong?

Hi tony220, Make sure that you're not blocking cookies. Try disabling ETP for a site and try again - Visit the site Click on the shield icon at the left end of the address bar and toggle ETP off.
Also, check that any extensions/add-ons aren't blocking.
Websites say cookies are blocked - Unblock them https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-cookies-are-blocked-unblock-them
Tried both these things, results still identical, getting message "can't contact Captcha." This is idiotic. Why has Mozilla introduced this disabling "feature"??
Firefox doesn't disable captcha that comes from the site to verify the user login. Never seen where I had to download catcha to access the site. Sounds like you've installed something to block cookies which captcha acts like thus denying you access.
I have tried all of five recommended steps to make sure cookies are not blocked. Still same result, "cannot contact Captcha." I have not "installed something" to block cookies. Any further suggestions?
So what site is this that is showing you this?
Blogger, when I try to reply to a comment.
This is going nowhere when no one can see the link or URL where you getting this problem from.
I write a blog on Google with the blogger app. Here's a link to the blog: modelingthesp.blogspot.com
When I try to reply to comments sent to the blog, is when I get the "captcha" issue. It's new -- this blog is over ten years old, and never used to have this issue.
