WHY do ALL "printscreens" come out black (until after new power-cycle) immediately after using ANY "private browser"?

more options

Find the "switch" that gets "activated" (when using ANY private browser window) that prevents us from using "printscreen" AND...ALL other "printsreen apps" as well (such as "windows snipping tool"). After using ANY private browser, Printscreen just shows an all black screen! Once you've used a private browser window (on a Win 7 desktop)...you no longer have any printscreen ability until after you power-cycle...when it's too late!! Printscreen ALWAYS shows an all black screen!

Try it for yourself on YOUR desktop...regardless of your system!

Printscreen (using your keyboard's "Printscreen" key) always works just the way it is SUPPOSED to...after a fresh power-cycle of the PC. However, just as SOON as you open a PRIVATE browser window, the only printscreen you'll be able to get (via ANY app on your PC) is a totally black page (until you power-cycle the PC again). Try it this same way on any (Windows?) desktop (I'm using Win 7)...you'll see! It doesn't matter what is showing on your monitor's screen...all you can get is a black page from printscreen (AFTER you've opened a PRIVATE browser window)!

Hi danemer, I have two suggestions. 1) Launch Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode, then open a Private Browsing window. See if the problem persists. See : Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

If it does: 2) Start Windows in Safe Mode (There are articles on the web to show you how).
