Why when I open a tab from another I have open, it appears as new widow, and about 1/3rd. the size?
I find this does not happen when I opened Mozilla and searched for an answer, but if I am in almost any other site, and click a link, it oens in a new window and is so narrow, it is unusable until I stretch i. This is a pain, and never happened ubtil about 1-2 months ago after an update.
Please let m know if anyone has a solution to this irritating challenge.

Are those browser windows looking like the default windows when you first open the browser? I do know from my past firefox install there is a default windows browser size it opens up to when installed and first opened. So can you give a screenshot of the error so others can see what it showing.
Thank you for your prompt reply, see screen shot of problem.
Is there a reason why it's sideways? And is that from the same screen with side by side browser? Have one browser up at a time might help it looks like they were mashed up together.

When I took screen shot, it turned like that. U can see there are 2 windows there, the large 1 is original, the tall thin 1 is what i get when I click on a link.
Sorry it took so long to reply, I am out today.
Try to rename/remove xulstore.json in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
