Loading a web page stopped in the middle. I have checked my internet connection: OK. After that no one web pages was opened in the firefox browser. I have opened Chrome and everything worked well , web pages has been opened.

I have purge firefox installation (apt purge firefox) and installed again. Not helped. I have switched off all the extensions. Not helped.

I have read and followed the things in the article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can Nothing helped.

I am using Ubuntu (Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS) any idea?

Try downloading another copy of Firefox and run it from the folder. Do not sign into your Firefox account and see if you have the same issue.

Thx for your answer, unfortunately does not helped. I have several questions:

1. I have tried to remove and reinstall FF (apt purge firefox) (with computer restart). What remained on my system that prevents FF opening any page (after reinstall)?

2. I have used FF (and no other application was running in the background) and suddenly no one page loaded any more. What do u smell, where should be the root of the problem. On the web page? Malignant attack through the web page?

X11 I was on the page https://got.gtarcade.com (playing the game) (It was not the first time, but approx 10 million when I have played with that game in the past 3 years. Never happened such accident before.)

"Can you provide examples of sites that are not working for you?" As I told you before none of the sites loaded. No one! FF died for me :(

Are you currently using a version from the repositories of your Linux distribution? Try the Firefox version from the official Mozilla server: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
