On Monday September 25th from 10PM EDT - 12AM EDT (2AM UTC - 4AM UTC on September 26th), we will be performing system maintenance on the Firefox Accounts databases for two hours. During the maintenance window, there will be brief periods of a few minutes where users will not be able to login to their accounts. Please try again at a later time.

I purchased a new computer and downloaded Firefox to the new computer. While going through my bookmarks, I tried to log into my Gmail account and it would ask me to "Add Gmail to your Google Account". What is odd is I just tried accessing my Gmail account from my old computer using Firefox and I was able to access my mail. I have looked through all the Firefox settings on both computers and cannot find any differences. Looking through other posts about this issue, I've tried the safe mode and disabled add blocker without satisfactory results. I find no need to clear the cache because the computer is a day old.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
