hi there!

is there a way to open a firefox tab in a new private window? it's something i'm wishing for all the time!

(google posts from many years ago state a way to select this option from the menu, but if it worked it no longer is in the menu.)

my reason for needing this so often is that i have many add-ons that block trackers, ads, etc, which are disabled for my private mode. so if a tab won't load, it would be the easiest way by far to get it to do so!

thanks for any help!

The only way I know to move a tab from a regular window to a PB mode window is using a Copy/Paste in the location bar and open the link in a PB mode window. If you have a link on a webpage then you can use the right-click context menu to open the link in a PB mode window.
