You can check that those pages aren't set as multiple homepages.
You can check the homepage setting.
- Options/Preferences -> Home
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page
Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
You can check the target line in the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties) to make sure nothing is appended after the path to the Firefox program.
Everything is as it should be,it’s not an issue with my homepage,as the problem occurred while on different websites,it only happens on Firefox
Hi
I think I am seeing something very similar to this with another user.
Which add-ons do you have installed in Firefox?
I have NordVPN extension and Norton safe web,both of which I have used well before this issue,I also have not enabled or added anything new to Firefox,also when I use other browsers I do not get this problem
Can you see if this problem still happens if you disable one or the other of them in the add-ons menu?
It still happens only on Firefox no matter what I do
impression, from Latin impressio, literally "impression"; associated verb imprimieren) can denote: a personal impression, see subjectivity. a page impression (page retrieval) on the internet.
Well that definitely does not solve the issue,I need to know how to stop this annoying page
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file in the Firefox profile folder that stores session data.
- rename/remove sessionstore.jsonlz4 and sessionstore.js
You may also have to rename the sessionstore-backups folder.
When sessionstore.jsonlz4 is deleted you lose pinned-tabs and open tabs and you will have to recreate them, so if necessary make a note or bookmark them. sessionstore.jsonlz4 is only present in the Firefox profile folder when Firefox is closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Folder/Directory:
Windows: Open Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
