I dropped Chrome and all things Google (and Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, etc.) recently and added Firefox as my browser. Links inside my Outlook 2010 no longer work. I get the error: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

Well, I am a home user with no "system administrator" to contact. I have no idea what to do. Help?

Sorry, many versions of Office have a dumb way of retaining default browser information that makes them incapable of coping when the default browser is uninstalled. They are still looking for Chrome in its previous installation folder. You can read more about this problem, and a Registry fix, here:
