I have a problem with new tabs

When I open, say, Google in a new tab, this tab is inactive, so you need to click on the search field to start typing there instead of immediate typing, very annoying.

Another problem, language switching doesn't work in new tabs as well. I have bound it on ctrl + shift, and when I press this combination, nothing happens.
