Updating Firefox broke Google sign in

Hi,

I've just updated to Firefox v.78.0.1 on my Windows 10 Toshiba laptop (approximately 4 years old) All of a sudden, I can't sign into Gmail or YouTube. Other than updating Firefox, I haven't made any changes to my machine.

Please can you advise?

What did you learn from that Learn more hyperlink in that message?
Not something that has happened to me with the Firefox 78.0.1 update or before, with either Google or YouTube and use the same login scheme.

I can't see how to turn Javascript on in this version of FF, as the option doesn't seem to exist.

Interesting that you have the same version, but don't have the problem.

I just tried starting in Safe Mode, signed in without issue, then restarted in the usual way, and I'm able to sign in. Weird.
