When you use Firefox without saving history, you're in private browsing mode :

Maybe you could check your settings in Options  <big>→</big>  Add-ons  <big>→</big>  Extensions,   and make sure that you have allowed your extensions to run in Private windows:

I discovered by coincidence that the add-ons are disabled if you choose never to save history in the Tools / Options menu. That cannot be the intention! Is this a bug?

Each individual extension has a setting for whether to run only in regular windows or also in private windows. On the Add-ons page, Extensions list, you'll see the purple mask icon next to the extension's name if it can run in private windows. If you don't see it turned on, click the extension's name to load its Details page, scroll down to the settings and enable it, then use the < button to get back to the list and repeat as needed.

Does that work on your Firefox?

In addition to my first post; if you want all extensions set to allowed in private browsing mode, you could do this :

Type in the address bar   about:config   and press Enter.
(ignore the warning)

Type in the search bar and look for the preference :

extensions.allowPrivateBrowsingByDefault   and set its value to   true.

Then close and restart Firefox.
