That's the problem, I'm not sure how that happened... My Firefox version is 74.0.1 and it's been always up to date as I use my laptop daily, I can't remember I ever used the beta channel, maybe many years ago, but I've been using the release channel all the this time

Also I can't understand what happened when I opened Firefox as Administrator, I noticed that a very old extension got installed, and then when I visited Gmail it redirected me to the login page, that's when I knew something wrong happened and the cookies somehow vanished as I didn't login to Gmail since the last 4 years or something

I suspect you have more than one FF browser installed. Or, it could be corrupt.

Let’s do a full clean re-install;

Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;

Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
