I was surprised to be told by Firefox that https://123.hp.com had a potential security risk. That site is linked to from HP webpage https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796879.

How does Firefox determine that a webpage has a security risk?

Some googling indicates that it may be security certificates. Since the organization is reputable, does that diminish the risk of following the link anyway?

Thanks. I found out what the problem was. I typed in https://123.hp.com because that was the text on the webpage. However, the actual link was the URL http://www.123.hp.com, i.e., it has the extra "www". The URL without "www" works fine, which means that the URL with "www" is likely whacky. it is likely an error in setting up the webpage that contains the link.
