I cannot recieve or send emails with my old sky email address. Configuration is correct. But firefox says username or password is incorrect, but all is correct?
I have deleted my email and have tried to reload it. When I do all the configuration settings are correct. But a yellow dialog box comes up saying username or password is incorrect. But my username is my email and I'm using the same password that I have on mysky email account. Please can you tell where I'm going wrong and what I need to do to fix this. Best regards Marc

When it says username or password may be incorrect, this means:
- Username may be incorrect.
- Password may be incorrect.
- Both Username and password may be incorrect.
- Username and password may be correct but not for the server settings selected.
As you are certain the username is inserted correctly as the full email address (eg: no typos nor full stops at the end) and the password is offering you access to the webmail account, I suggest you check the actual server settings. For example: If you select to use POP but have used imap server settings then it will not work.
When you try to create existing mail account, you enter your name, full email address and password, then click on Continue. Thunderbird tries to configure the account. click on 'Manual Config' button Post an image showing the settings.
Located information which could be purely down to yahoo and insisting you must use imap with OAuth2 authentication. It sounds like yu may have blocked because yahoo have changed how you can connect.
Thunderbird Use Yahoo servers 'imap.mail.yahoo.com' & 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com' and 'Oauth2' Authentication. Check the manual config to see if you are using correct settings. Please read: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Email/Summary-of-Oauth-compatible-apps-for-Windows-users/td-p/3134027
