mouse wheel scroll stops working for no apparent reason in all tabs and only way to correct it is to close firefox and reopen

just froze again so I unchecked "reverse scroll direction" and that got it working again, maybe this has nothing to do with firefox and it's only happening because I use firefox more than anything else?
Make sure all software is up to date.
pretty much as soon as centos releases it's installed
I had several other apps open today when the mouse froze in all tabs on firefox but not on any of the others apps, again changing a setting in mouse config fixes it :(
I am facing something similar but my browser screen turn black and i am unable to do anything to restore everthing, i have to cancel the browser window and then relaunch the browser and all the windows refresh automatically.
