Firefox keeps crashing my computer, running unsupported scripts, and slowing down everything

I have had problem with my Mac, and upgraded to Catalina. Since then the problem has become worse. I removed a chrome routine that was shown as an unsupported script on Firefox, and for a while all went well. Now it is back. I have deleted and reloaded Firefox, then tried deleting all Firefox files in Library (and lost all my bookmarks, but there are still problems.

I have since managed to have Firefox share data, and have not had any feedback as to what has been received or how to resolve the problem.

For half a day all worked well, now it crashes again and sends the wole computer into a hang.
