On two monitor system, why does web page moves to a different display after wakeup now when before it stayed put

Until recently, I could split Firefox between my two display monitors and on opening or waking up the pages remained on the display I left them on. Now, the Firefox is still split but splits are always both on Display No.1 and Display 2 is empty and I have to move screens back.
