You can drag and drop the home button anywhere on the toolbar, with some exceptions. It can't be on the right side of the menu button (because the menu button can't be moved) and it can't be located instead of the address bar.

See Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars for more information.

You will see I have moved the Home button to the right hand side but now I would like to move it 5 places left so its positioned left of the download arrow.

I got it there by pinning it to the overflow bar first, then unpinning it, that is where it landed.

Hope it helps

It shouldn't have been that difficult to get the Home button in that position by dragging it to the left side of the Menu Bar button. You should be able to drag the Home button further left in customize mode either before or after the Downloads button. Note that there is a flexible space between the location bar and the Download button. You can remove the two flexible spaces that are placed left and right of the location bar if you want to use the full space on the Navigation Toolbar.

Got it at last, did not get fully that it had to be in customize mode to work it, got used to MS with there ways plus as I had been using XP for a long time before my mind has been getting frazzled trying to transfer data over finding out what will work and what will not.

Plus trying to get a virtual XP to work on this Windows 10 system has left me trying to find software to work with that has simple features etc etc.

Thanks will try for a few less late nights.....................
