Proxy prompt is not being displayed. Can't use firefox via proxy.

I use nordvpn. When I open firefox, it usually asks for the proxy password being that I have linked to a proxy server. However, it is not giving me a prompt so that I can type in my username and password anymore. Therefore, I am unable to use firefox. This is happening on my windows 10 and mac machine.

2 questions: How do I get the prompt so that I can type in my nordvpn u/n and p/w? Is there a way to store my nordvpn u/n and p/w into firefox so that I can remain linked to my proxy and do not have to type in everytime I open firefox.
