Can't download any file of any website.

Since last update of Firefox, When I try to download a file from any website, clicking on the download ling results in... nothing. I started using Windows Explorer because of that and I am miserable. I am using Adblock, Noscript, and Privacy badger. But as far as I remember the problem started with the last Firefox update and I had those add-ons before. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Uri

What security software do you have?

It is possible that (anti-virus) security software is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the answer but I had tried that. I can download with no problems using Windows Explorer, with or without my security software (Norton). But not with Firefox
