Firefox isn't saving my passwords correctly
Some places I have accounts require/assign long passwords, i.e. "at least sixteen characters". All of a sudden Firefox is chopping all my passwords short, which means they're WRONG.

Is this with many websites, some, a few?
Check your passwords. Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,
Note: For Firefox 56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
Press the Exceptions button and see what's inside.
At what length are the passwords cut off?
Is this only when entering the passwords in a form on the website or also in the Password Manager?
You can double-click username and password entries in the Password Manager to edit these items.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security: Forms & Passwords: "Saved Logins" -> "Show Passwords"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

As for themes, I've never changed it away from the default. I'll give SafeMode a shot.
