I have the latest version of firefox and i got these problems today but i didnt change anything. When i click to download a file nothing happens. I have tried multiple file types. I have tried in Firefox Safe Mode and then it works but when i try in normal Firefox it doesnt work and i have disabled my addons, I have stadard theme and I have turned of hardware acceleration and it still wont work.

Any idea what the problem is?

I have now found the "problem". I have a TV connected to my computer and I have turned it off but the dialog window that comes up when you click to download a file appeared on my TV so now when I turned it on it were a lot of windows there. So not really a firefox-problem, more of an idiot-problem :P Thanks for trying to help me mate! :)

Bummer  !

You mentioned that in Safe Mode it works - some extensions are not effectively disabled after you click "Disable" until you close and then restart Firefox.

That's the only thing that I can think of now .....
