Firefox used to have one-click menu option for Tabs on Bottom. Bring it back because I REALLY dislike tabs on top.

I think my question is self-explanatory. Only other relevant detail is that i'm over 70 years old. For the reference of Mozilla volunteer coders, I am NOT going to mess around trying to insert blocks of code into obscure places in Firefox in a convoluted attempt to replace an EASY feature that was removed for some weird reason. ~ And PLEASE do not waste your time trying to explain why tabs on top are better. Just accept that although you might prefer tabs on top, I do NOT ! And from what I've seen on the forums, LOTS of other people agree with me.

Firefox has been my main browser for many years, and I have donated money to Mozilla in the past. But no more. If Mozilla deliberately chooses to make personally customizing Firefox more difficult for seniors like me, then I'm going to stop using it and move on to other browsers.

ALSO : While reading the comments and questions from numerous other people who prefer Tabs on Bottom, I've tried many times to click the button "I have this problem too". But it has NEVER worked for me. The tally count, therefore, of those with the same problem is showing as much lower than it really should be.

HI, then I would guess you are not going to get what you want then. Age is not a barrier. I am 63 so age does not work. 10mins of reading how to make a folder, how to make a file in the folder and where to put the folder and copy/Paste are all functions you do daily.

So with that here is the information you need to do with as you want :

(Note there was userChrome in Firefox before there was a Google or chrome) Some info, some examples, some code, link to tabs on bottom :

Tabs on the bottom, can ask for help here or there : https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/6x2tmz/can_i_have_tabs_on_bottom_and_bookmarks_above/

Do ask for help if you need the code put together in one block so you have even less to try to understand and someone will do so, if asked.

As a person who will be turning 69 in a few weeks, I can feel your pain over the loss of Firefox features. Live with it, fix it with code, or move on is about all a person can do. If you have a few hours (for me to bore you) I can provide a list of my own grievances with Firefox changes / "losses" that happened over the last 15 years or so.

Mozilla gives and can take away long used features to the betterment Firefox for all users, at least in their own development minds.

The Tabs on Bottom preference has been gone from Firefox for many years now - like gone with Firefox 29; and is wasn't the default since Firefox 3.6.

There was an extension - Classic Theme Restorer - which "restored" that feature, but that went DOA with Firefox 57 Quantum. If you can't pull off the "code" modification for that defunct feature, you'll need to live with the default that Mozilla provides. Sorry, I am too damn old to sugarcoat things that were changed years ago, that users forgot that they had been compensating for for so long.
