The extension manager does not provide all pertinent information about installed add-ons. Nor does it permit a search of recently installed add-ons older than several days. I need to know the install date of add-ons.

This information was once accessible via the configuration editor. Has this changed? I'm using Firefox 62, Win 10 Home 64.

Hi

This is something that a few of us looked into a few months back. We found that the information is not stored and is not likely to be as add-ons update, effectivle refreshing any last install date.

If you have a computer you use regualry online and have a reasonably ic numebr of add-osn, the add-on page for each add-on at addons.mozilla.org will show a version history which could be used to manually establish a timeline.

All information about installed extensions is stored in the extensions.json file in the profile folder. You can open this file in a text editor or in a Firefox tab and use the builtin JSON viewer to format the file.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
