had to download firefox so i could download important work software. Firefox says my work download possibly malicious & wont let me. I have hit all allow buttons. I am also not very computer literate. HELP

There is a checkbox on the Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security page further down under "Privacy & Security panel" to block Deceptive Content.

Note that best is to leave this choice enabled and only disable it temporarily in cases you are sure you want to proceed, so you will be warned and be aware that there is a problem.
