That's isn't a mozilla fault if something happen and you lost the info during that time. Unless you have a backup of the loggins and passwords somewhere there is not much that can be done.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Go to your local department / electronics store and look around for a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that is useful for you. The lowest price is $50 + -. There are also units on the market that plug into the computer. So if the battery gets low, it will shut down the computer to protect it.

There is an add-on that makes backups of the user profile, but it is nor compatible with the current Firefox.

Yes it has no passwords on it, they are all gone. There are several files in the profile folder labelled as corrupt. No folder on desktop.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there?

Hi greent, if you don't make regular backups of your Firefox profile folder, one possible source for recovery is a Windows restore point. I never recommend using System Restore because that can lead to data loss acros your system, but you can "mine" your restore points for relevant files. Here are some links you'll need:

In the most recent restore point, drill down through the profile path:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

You may see one semi-randomly named folder, or multiple folders. The file modification dates should indicate which is your latest profile in that case.

Look for the logins.json and key3.db files and copy them out together to a neutral location (e.g., Documents folder). These files would replace the useless ones in your live profile.

Just the contaminated profile? Then you will have to rebuild the missing information.

Go to the login page of those websites that you don't remember the login/password and use its 'Forgot' links. A message will be sent to the e-mail listed on that site.

Did all this and loaded up FF and it did nothing, no passwords or anything same as before. So I deleted my profile and made a new one and copied the files over. Still nothing except now all my bookmarks and firefox its unorganized up from using a default profile. So im worse off than when I started.

Okay. That was my only idea.

Can you get it back from the Recycle bin? Did you make any kind of backup? I don't understand why you deleted all your Firefox data.
