I forgot to restore my tabs before closing firefox. Now I reopened firefox and the tabs are gone. Really?

In 2017 and such a stupid thing still exists in the goddamn browser. This is not the first time this happens, many people can close firefox before restoring the tabs and completely lose it for good. How can I fix this cause I am losing my mind cause all my work was on it.

Hi, you don't need to restore tabs before closing Firefox: Go to Options > General, and in 'When Firefox starts' set it to 'Show your windows and tabs from last time.' More; Restore previous session - Configure when Firefox shows your most recent tabs and windows
