Periodically the browser will start rapidly resizing up and down and become unusable, this happens even in safe mode and after reinstalling, any suggestions?
When using Firefox, fairly frequently the browser will begin rapidly resizing itself from full screen to a smaller setting. Once this happens, I cannot stop it from happening, I have to force quit the application. This happens even in Safe Mode and it continues to happen even a fresh re-installation. This issue started about a week ago.
Any recommendations for fixing this issue?

What's your computer system and Firefox version?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Windows 10, version 1703 Firefox 56.0.1 (64-bit)
Per the information in my original submission, starting in Safe Mode does not fix my problem.
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

Also, check your monitor's connections.
Monitor's connection is ok.
Other browsers seem to operate fine.
I'm not 100% certain what a "safe" website is, but it happens sometimes when I first open the browser before I even leave the google homepage.
A 'safe' website, like Mozilla, has https:// in its address. They should be free of 'bad' 3rd party content like malware.
