The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

While still in Safe Mode,

Firefox v55 has been having problems with graphics drivers and protection programs.

Check out Firefox v56 beta, some of the issues with Intel drivers have been fixed. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/beta/all/

Do I need to do / search anything with the data you posted? I've already tried the links in your second post, didn't work it out. I can always send you some screenshots of what happens when firefox is about to crash.

Did you try Safe Mode? Did you check out the links posted with Safe Mode?

Please update to the current Firefox 52.3.0 ESR version.

@ FredMcD I've tried to start firefox in safe mode and checked out the links, but the problem still occurred.

@ cor-el I've now booted my computer in safe mode (with network support) and it looks like firefox doesn't crash anymore. Sometimes the webpages showed black spots again, but it happend much less, and after clicking away or scrolling, they disappeared without any crash or graphical issues afterwards.

As a test, disable your protection programs.

I've disabled my protection programs (Norton Antivirus) and stared Firefox in Safemode, but the problem stil occurred.

You wil have to completely remove the plugin Norton installs in firefox. Actually I fully recommended you start fresh.

1. Update your Videocard drivers asap (drivers are over a year old) 2. load firefox and goto your "about:support" and click "refresh firefox" 3. Once loaded back in, go back to your "about:support" and make sure beside "Multiprocess Windows" is "enabled" and for "Compositing" it says "Direct3D 11"

If that's all in check then you should be seeing some fast speeds, if oyu still have probs with your video goto: www.youtube.com/html5 and report back what you're missing in there...

if the Anti-virus is still a suspect, disable it's HTTPS filering/protection and make sure it didn't install their shitty plugin into firefox again...

Hello Beerbaron23, sadly your tips didn't solve the crashes. In answer to your questions:

- I have completely removed Norton and refreshed Firefox - My Graphics cars is updated to the latest version that supports Windows Vista (Version 342.01) I can't download any newer versions because they require Windows 7 or higher... - On the about:support page, is says "Multiprocess Windows" [1/1 (enabled by default)] and for "compositing" [Direct3D 11]

The speeds haven't increased since, so I went to youtube html5 and saw that "MSE & WebM VP9" Has an [!]

Also how do I Disable HTTPS filtering in Norton, Can't find it under settings... (maybe a different name?)

Anyways, thank you for helping me with my problem! As I said before, I can show you in screenshots/videos how the crashes occur if you want.
