As question above: Adblock phased to block all adverts and worked prior to last 2 Firefox updates. System works perfectly using Chromium. Adblock has been cancelled and reinstalled but still generated gaps and refreshed adverts when using ukadvfn.com self generated pages and their microscope links. I use ADVFN for 90% of web use. ADVFN are aware of this problem, prior to my contacting them. I am using LinuxMint17.3 on a desktop

The 6 screenshots would not upload. if you contact me by email, in will resend them in a folder.

Screenshots will need to be smallish compressed files such as .png or .jpeg rather than large hi resolution bitmap files. This is a known problem, other parts of the forum compress |convert large files the support forum does not. (We will migrate to new forum software early in 2017 so the problem is not being fixed in the old software)

You should contact Adblock Support regarding their problems. Or consider using an alternative ad blocking addon.

Sorry such problems need to be sorted out by the add-on developers not Firefox. Add-ons need to remain compatible with Firefox not the other way round. Unfortunately Firefox is undergoing major changes at present with a new system for add-ons and a new system to enable fast multi mode use being rolled out. Both are changes that are bound to come with downsides and compatibility problems, but we are only fellow users of Firefox and unable to discuss Development Policy here.
