Using Windows 10

I've read many forums and it seems the issue has still NOT been resolved. I am using v48. Unless I KNOW for certain that this issue of NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE THE PROGRAM WINDOW ON THE DESKTOP has benn resolved in v49, what point is there to move to v49?

I've have change extensions or added new ones in years. When will this fixed? It may NOT seems important. but it is. I do NOT want the Firefox program window stuck in place on my desktop.

And what is with that silly thing (it changes color based on the tab) where there no real titlebar at the top, that actually seems to PREVENT the user from even attempting to move the window at all?

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.

Crap!! It's one of my FAVORITE THEME!!! (I found another) Sigh...oh well. All of my favorite themes are now dead...this is why I hate Internet "progress". 80% of my themes died when mozilla changed their this, and that, and blah blah the other thing...

These themes draw the title bar in such a way that browser API causes the it to become invisible...crap..

Downloading the new themes unfortunately DID NOT fixed the issue.

The tab coloring is from one of your add-ons.

As to not moving the window; Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Yes while is SAFE MODE I can move the window. But going back to normal...nothing.

Also, I know already why the top of screen is colored, I just DO NOT KNOW why the application header/title bar (whatever it's called these days) is gone, preventing me moving the window.

Even disabling the tab extensions/add-on does nothing.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons. Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.

If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.

Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.
